Hi! I joined today twice just to start looking, and decide which course, when to tell my kid, etc. But I didn't want to give the credit card yet. When I tried to login the system did not recognized me and asked me to sign in again. Can I log in without credit card information?

Hi Laura,
From the sounds of it, you didn't finish the registration process successfully if you failed to enter in your credit card details. Remember, we ask for the credit card details in order to comply with COPPA.
The FTC has put forth strict guidelines about what constitutes 'verificable' adult consent and we've found the quickest and most trusted way to do that is using a credit card to verify an adult's identity. This process is safe and does not cost money. We will charge your card $0.50 (50 cents) and then immediately refund you $0.50 (50 cents). If you decide to upgrade your kid(s) at a later date, that's totally fine! You don't need to sign up immediately for the Camp membership, but to create an adult account, we will need to verify your identity using this credit card system.
Hopefully that helps answer your question! Please reach out to he...@diy.org if you have any further questions.
