Merging with another group

Hello all!  I am currently in discussions with the organizer of one of our local social groups.  We are talking about merging our two groups and having the DIY club fall under their group.  Currently, our DIY club is mostly comprised of the kids of this social group anyway, but this would allow the DIY club to have access to their funds and network.  I feel that this would be a HUGE benefit to our kids and instantly gives us access to a wide variety of mentors.  If this merge were to happen, what would I need to do as club leader?  I know that our club name on the map would need to be changed, as well as our club leader name.  What is the best way to go about this?  Thanks!

Once you have settled on merging the group, all you need to do is send a note to he...@diy.org with the details and we can help you in modifying your account information and "pin" on the club map.
