No way to make video's

For some of the projects I've noticed that it states to upload a video as proof of having done the project (like play an instrument). We have no way of making a video-we don't own cell phones, ipads, ipods etc-we just have a computer where I can put our camera card and upload photos. Can we submit photo's?

Hello Carrie!

Many of our challenges do currently require videos to earn completion and unfortunately will likely not be accepted without one. However, every skill (with perhaps a few exceptions) should have at least three challenges that can be completed with photos, meaning that skill can be earned even if you don't have the ability to record/upload videos.

I've personally been working to update many of our older challenges to remove the video requirements to make DIY more accessible for all of our members. For some challenges that do require visual/audio proof (like "Play An Instrument"/Musician), we will likely continue to only accept videos. Really sorry about that!
