Dixprs Running on a Raspberry PI with a TNC PI - RX Only Config

Hi All,

I would like to setup a Receive only Igate using a Raspberry PI and TNC-PI.

I want to be sure I get the config correct for a Receive (RX) only Igate.

Are there any examples on the net ?

Of could some share an example config

I would try a combination of the TNC-PI manual and this site.  It's not that much of a change from a two way to a receive only and I think that is all done in the DIXPRS config file.

Yep on lines 181 and 182 of the config file

# Enable/disable transmission; change it to PTTON=1 to enable trasmission; default is no         #PTTON=<y/n>                  You should be good to go as a receive after very minor configuration information added.

Hi Paul,

you can start with the KISS sample config file part of the package. As Warren advised, TNC-Pi manual describes how to setup and configure TNC to appear as a KISS TNC on the serial port in Raspbian. Just use these settings in DIXPRS radio port section.

Let me tell if it works or you need some more help.
