Paul knows the word and was DQ

The word was #4 “Artificial ankylosis” d=from Miriam Webster - here is the full entry

arthrodesis noun

the surgical operation of immobilizing a joint by removing the cartilaginous surfaces so that the bones grow solidly together : artificial ankylosis

Judy and Mike each ended up with 5 unnatural points: I think Mike is ahead in the points so Judy is the ‘winnah’ and Mike is the next dealer

Interesting.… If you had used the entire definition, I would have been DQ, as it was the first part that I was familiar with. However, I didn't know that arthrodesis is synonymous with "artificial anklylosis" when I voted for the "real" definition.

Judy

I was fairly sure that you would have known it with the full definition but wondered if you would know the ankylosing part - as I said to you - see the definitions and decide re DQ
I really liked your definition
