Here are 12 definitions for the word BAYADERE shared exactly as I received them, but only one is correct. Please send your votes by responding to the Dixonary group with what you believe are two definitions most likely to have come from a dictionary before the deadline, which is TUESDAY, JUNE 30, 2025, at 7 P.m. Eastern Time or the corresponding time where you live! https://www.timeanddate.com Any misspellings, weird spacing, etc., are my fault and not an indication of the accuracy of a particular definition.

Good luck!

It sounds French and feminine, but I don't believe 11.  Instead I'll vote for 8 and 9 - wrong again, I expect!

             8. A sluggish stream that meanders through lowlands and marshes containing brackish water.

             9. A torch bearer.

2 and 7 as I spent all morning at the coliseum today and both seem relevant

And a tip of the hat to 11.
