TLDR:
1. Bookmark this page: https://sites.google.com/dixonary.net/dixonarydocs/old-game-archive/used-word-list and use it when you need to deal
2. Delete any local copies you have of the WORDSABC and WORDS123 text files.

I've set up automation to keep the WORDSABC and WORDS123 files up-to-date with the Google Sheet. It runs either weekly or on-demand, so if you really like working with these text-based formats, you can find current versions there.  However, the Google Sheet has much more powerful search capabilities and is still recommended to use.

While I was at it, I also set up some scripts to calculate recent questions about numbers of withdrawn words in a round, and moved the "back to back" streak reports from the google sheet to another text-based report.

I just wish we could delete the two dozen out-of-date copies going back over a decade that are in attachments to messages in this group.

If players search for the files here, that is what they will find. I sometimes think they do it in expectation of finding them in the Files Section.

It is possible for admin to delete messages.

Alas, there is no "files section" on Google Groups. :|

I don't want to delete the messages. Just the attachments.

And I, for one, know very well that there is no Files Section. When we migrated from CompuServe, that was why I successfully argued for moving to Yahoo not Google, because Yahoo did have a Files section.
