Here are 12 fake and one "real" definition of RAMNATRACK. I'll give you two guesses which one I found in a dictionary. Please reply with your two guesses by 10 AM Saturday, July 26 EDT. Good luck!

1. A form of sectional portable track used by narrow gauge logging railroads, allowing temporary lines to be laid quickly and removed when logging was complete.

2. A provisional framework used in logistics planning to simulate cargo flow through temporary distribution zones during high-volume turnover periods.

3. A pungent spice similar to ginger and galangal, found primarily in the Malaysian peninsula and Myanmar.

4. Ill-spun yarn.

5. A makeshift logging chute made from unfinished timber and used for a single season.

6. Trademark. A light exercise treadmill that is unpowered and that moves only when walkers push against the passive resistance of the belt with their feet.

7. A riverbed in sandy terrain which is dry except after heavy rain (from a native Australian language).

8. Plaiting, in particular, of grass fibers.

9. The Egyptian scarab as a symbol of rebirth.

10. [Obs.Viking] The course to be steered to intercept another longboat with the intention of boarding.

11. The leather-gear with its appurtenances, by which the clapper of a church bell is suspended.

12. A dolly for motion picture cameras.

13. A secondary avatar of Vishnu, characterized by grace and flexibility of limbs.

One by one I've eliminated all of them, so I have to start over. These seem least likely, so I'll go with them:

4. Ill-spun yarn.

8. Plaiting, in particular, of grass fibers.

I'll vote for 3 and 12.

3 might be motivated by my slightly underwhelming lunch of leftovers. 12 because it sounds real to me.

I thught I'd locked myself out of the Google account I use for the forum, so I sent a vote to Glenn by email.  However, I seem to have got back in in another device, so here it is for all to see:

I'll go with vox pop and try 4 and 8.

        4. Ill-spun yarn

        8. Plaiting, in particular, of grass fibers.
