The word in the subject line is not a typo. It is unrelated to the more common "carbuncle," a very unpleasant cluster of infected boils.

There may be an unusually long voting period. We're getting on a plane that afternoon. I don't know when I'll have both Internet access and free time until Friday afternoon CEST. We can cross that bridge when we come to it, though.
