Here are 12 definitions for POOCHLE, one of which came from a respectable dictionary.
Vote for your 2 favo(u)rites no later than 6 PM EDT, Tuesday, July 9.

1.  [Scot.] Of fish, game: poached. More generally, used of any item
obtained by illicit or underhand means.

2.  [Pennsylvania Dutch] Cornmeal mush mixed with pork scraps, seasoned
with onions, spices, herbs, etc., and shaped into loaves and sliced
for frying.

3.  A worthless or clumsy person.

4.  Shy, reserved, proud.

5.  A simplified version of the card game pinochle, intended for children
aged 6-10.

6.  A card game for two or more players, the objective being to be the
first to complete a descending sequence of all 52 cards in the deck,
usu. from the king of diamonds to the ace of clubs.

7.  Unearthed in 2013, this chess-like game contains 49 tokens, according
to Haluk Saglamtimur who ran the dig, and dates back to 2900 BCE.

8.  [ME] A dog who returns to its own vomit. [from Proverbs 26:11 quoted
by Chaucer in the Miller's Tale: most likely his own translation from
the Vulgate of St Jerome but possibly via the mediaeval French of
"le Roman de la Rose" which Chaucer also translated]

9.  In a traditional Tarot deck, a name given to the Queen of Swords,
because there is  a small dog behind her throne.

10.  A sort of sea vessel or transport ship.’ (Old Records.) Bailey 1721.

11.  A wedge.

12.  To engage in a surreptitious or covert action, often with a
connotation of minor mischief or playful deceit.

I did read to the end, but I still prefer the first two.

I vote for the two adjectives: 1 and 4.

I mentioned submitting my def that it sounded Scots, so 1 gets my vote.

Avoiding cards or games or dogs, I'll go with the "A sort of" def 10.
