Hi Dixons,

So sorry for the delay in posting a word. I did NOT expect to win the last round (because I've done so badly lately). And today was a very busy day.

But at long last, here is the word for your defining pleasure:

PARONOMASIA

Please get your DQs to me right away and your fanciful definitions as soon as possible.

Assuming this word flies, the deadline for defs will be 11am EST (4pm GMT, I think) on Saturday January 10. Just in time for the Bears-Packers game. Go Bears! (the longest-running American football rivalry -- playoff game)
