Round 3603 CHAPPAL - Results

Hi all,

One submitter has not voted, but the deadline has passed and I have a few minutes available to quickly push out the results. So here goes.

The runaway winner of this round is Nancy Shepherdson. Her fringed shawl earned no less than 6 votes.
In second place, with 2 votes plus 2 points for being the only one to guess the correect definition, we find Paul Keating, who escapes (sorry!) the deal

The real definition, from Colllins online, was number 11, the single sandal. With two people knowing the word, the D1 score is less impressive than it will look a few years from now in the historic scores.

I have not 3 but 4 votes for #12: Abell, Bourne, Shefler, Shepherdson. It appears that the one that went astray (Abell, 06 Dec 2025 04:59 UTC) ended up at #1 instead, which, by my reckoning, got no votes, not 1.

Paul, you are absolutely correct. Tony voted for 10 and 12, but somehow that last 2 was not recorded in my spreadsheet, making it appear as 1 and 2.

Sorry, Johnny, you have to give up your single point and add it to Efrem's stack, which brings him to a shared #2 spot.
