As everyone who submitted a def has voted, I'm closing the round early.

Three defs, including the real one, contained the word 'narrow', and they got the most votes. The result was a close-run thing.  The last vote gave Dan Widdis's narrow gap in a hedge the lead with a natural 5, beating Judy Madnick's dust-collecting narrow gap, which gave her an unnatural 5.  The real def was number 4, the narrow gorge or ravine
