Two players tied for first place with 5 points, but Paul Keating's score was inflaited by his correct guess, so Debbie Embler takes the nexr deal.  Paul's impecable logic (or was it Lodgic) led him to be the only player to deduce that the real def was number 2, the small wood.  Paul was wrong in one respect: he discarded the two Scottish defs as he thought that I seldom chose a Scottish word - in fact, I used my dealer's privilege to choose not to include the OED's "Sottish. Obsolete" annotation to CUTHILL.
