Work Party Friday

Last Friday, we were short-handed, but we still got a lot done.  Don Connolly pressure-washed almost all of Dock B.  He took most of the old paint and weather-proofing off in preparation for the new coat to go on.  That was a lot of work, and I appreciate the effort.

Jim Simons helped me put a wind sock on the committee boat, and Steve Phillabaum helped me with the new stair for the bathroom.

We still have quite a bit of stuff to get done before the Punchbowl Regatta, so please come out if you can to work on Friday from 9:00 until 2:00ish.  

List of tasks:

1.      Repair failed decking on docks.

2.      Pressure-wash all docks

3.      Waterproof/Paint all docks (especially Docks B & C before Punchbowl)

4.      Paint white steps on ramp of Dock A.

5.      Install stairs at the pavilion shed.

6.      Waterproof/Paint new stairs and stairs at the pavilion going to the beach

7.      Paint & decal Committee boat.

8.      Spread mulch to bear areas.

If you can make it Friday, it would be appreciated.  Also, if you haven’t completed your annual work-party obligation, this is your chance. 

Let’s make the club look exceptional for our guests and members.
