With the coming of the warm weather, also comes the pests. I found a tick today after spending the day at the club. Please remember to check yourself after walking the grounds and use bug repellent if you have it.

For Board consideration...

Those who were there on Saturday know that my wife Eva was dive-bombed by a wasp without provocation.  They seem quite active already this Spring.

I wonder if an EpiPen would be a good addition to the club's first aid kit?  They last 18 months.  If we bought one at the beginning of a season, it would be effective for two seasons before having to be replaced.  It's similar to a defibulator in that it has the potential to save a life.  People's reactions to stings can vary from sting to sting, and they can sometimes have an anaphylactic reaction even if they haven't previously.  Our resident medical professionals, like Will Burkhalter, may want to weigh in.  I'm just an architect.  We only ACT like we know stuff.

Just my $0.02 worth,

Lewis Godwin

Thanks Lewis,

Club, I can get us one I just need to know who's name to prescribe it to?

Thanks,

Will

Will,

Eva Godwin!

She is susceptible to reactions.  We had to get her a steroid Z-pack on Sunday after her hand started turning into a softball mitt.  We'll keep it in the club's first-aid kit for everyone's access.

Hoping to see you at the club soon, Will.  I'd take your upcoming RC duties, but I'm helping my daughter move that weekend.

Thank you both, Lewis and Will.  It was a good suggestion and quick action.

We will be glad to keep this with our first aid kit for immediate use if needed.

See y’all soon.
