DSC Charity Sailing Event to benefit Girls Ranch - September 6th

Dear Members,
Dixie Sailing Club is hosting Girls Ranch residents and support staff for a day of sailing at the club on Saturday September 6th. The event involves taking our guests out on Lake Martin in club supplied, skippered boats.

In order for this event to be successful, we need members to either volunteer to sail their own boats with passengers, or be willing to captain Dixie Sailing Club Youth Program (DSCYP) supplied daysailers with passengers.

We are currently short of the number of boats necessary to make the event successful without overloading the already volunteered boats with too many guests at one time. Please consider either volunteering your boat/self to help with this effort, or volunteering to skipper one of the DSCYP daysailers if your boat is unavailable.

the doctor signs off, likely in mid-September.
I am mailing a check for Aug-Dec. dues for $300; an annual payment to follow in January 2026.
