Hi group,

I am a little confused as to where the thumbnails and/or screenshots
form my uploaded videos are.

I read through the api docs, and tried these locations:

http://www.divshare.com/img/[FILE ID]
http://www.divshare.com/image/[FILE ID]
http://www.divshare.com/img/thumb/[FILE ID]

none of them work. Any ideas?

Greg

Hi Greg,

Thanks for using DivShare. It's not documented yet (we'll fix that today), but try using http://www.divshare.com/direct/video_thumb/[FILE ID]. Let us know if you have any issues, and have a great day,

Hi Rob,

Thank you for your help on this. I have a few more questions regarding
the flash videoplayer.

- I've uploaded a PNG logo, but it doesn't show on the video player.
It still shows the DivShare logo.
- I've tried using the "myCustomLink" variable on the embed code, but
it doesn't do anything. Clicking on the logo sends me back to the
DivShare site.
- When I use the embed code from the DivShare video page (static /
overlay) to get the new players, it shows the direct link to the
DivShare site underneath the embed code. Is there a way to hide it?

Basically, I want to use DivShare as the backend for my video-based
website, and I don't want the DivShare logo or any links to that
public(?) video page on divshare.com

Besides that, I love the service!

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,

Thanks for being a part of DivShare. It sounds like you may need to ensure that your videos are set as "Direct" files -- you can do this using the pull-down menu on the dashboard. You'll see a little "D" icon next to all your direct files on the dash. You can also change a setting in your preferences to automatically mark all new uploads as either "direct" or "free" files.

As for the direct link to DivShare in the embed code, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that -- can you describe that in more detail or show me an example?

Thanks, and have a great day,

Rob
