My name is Diana Emmanuelli and I am the Competitor Manager at US Sailing. We are excited to announce that the 2024 US Multihull Championship is almost around the corner. This year
it will be hosted by DCYC Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club and Hobie Cat Fleet #23 in Oak Point, TX.
Information on the event is as follows:
2024 U.S. Multihull Championship in Oak Point, Texas

WHERE: Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club (DCYC) (1399 Yacht Club Rd., Oak Point TX 75068)

WHAT: The U.S. Multihull Championship is one of several prestigious championships hosted by US Sailing and sailed in selected one-design class boats. The perpetual trophy was presented and named the Alter Trophy in 1986 in honor of Hobie Alter, Sr., and his
extraordinary promotion of one-design multihull sailing and racing programs.

The event is sailed in a different multihull class each year.

The 2024 event will be sailed on class legal Hobie Cat 16s.

This is a bring-your-own-boat event.

The championship is an open event (there is no selection process).

Membership in US Sailing is required at all levels of competition for U.S. citizens and residents.

Other nationalities must be members of their National Governing Body.

All competitors must be members of the Hobie Class Association of North America.

Open to all traditional Hobie 16 Catamarans conforming to the Hobie 16 Catamaran Class Rules.
