Hello, Division 31!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break! Although I am quite late, I just want to say that I am thankful to be able to serve such wonderful leaders like you all. Your passion and hard work inspire me to be a better leader and I can't wait to continue this journey with you all!

This email consists of the following:

​Please be sure completely read this email since it contains important upcoming events!​ Officers, please respond this email once you have fully read and understood the contents of this email. It is necessary that you respond so that I know that this information is being shared with the club you serve. 


December Division Council Meeting
Be sure to attend the next DCM in order to learn more about upcoming events, mingle with fellow division mates, and get in the holiday spirit with a hot beverage fundraiser and canned food drive!

TIME:
 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

​Hot Beverage Fundraiser​

Hot Chocolate: $1

Hot Tea: $1

Canned Food Drive

In order to get in to the holiday season, our theme for this month will be "Helping the Less Fortunate". In order to help out, I ask that each club participate in the D31 December Food Drive!! Starting now, collect *canned/dry/packaged food for those in need. 

3 food items = 1 hr. community service

* = please do not bring perishable items

Please feel free to turn in food items at the DCM or club board, please arrange a time and place for us to meet.

Deadline: Wednesday, December 20th

Candidate Training Conference 
ARE YOU THE NEXT LTG?? Come to CTC in order to learn more about the duties and responsibilities of being a Lieutenant Governor. This fun experience will give you an insight of the daily life of being a LTG and a district board member.

Are you unsure of whether you would like to run? No worries, come anyway! Once you learn more about the position, you can decide if you would like to. I highly encourage everyone no matter if you are an officer or general member to attend CTC.

 Next Saturday, December 9th

WHERE:
 Guajome Park Academy (2000 N SAnte Fe Ave., Vista, CA 92083)

TIME:
 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Registration begins at 8:30 and ALL attendees must be present no later than 8:30 am)

​What to Bring:
  • $5 Registration Fee 
  • Medical Release Form (attached below)
  • Note Taking Materials ie. pencils, pen, paper​
​Dress Code: Business Casual (example attached below)​

Guys - dress shirts, slacks, dress shoes and tie (optional)
Girls - dress shirts/blouse, slacks/knee length skirt and nice closed shoes

IMPORTANT
  1. This event is required for those who are planning to run for LTG and highly HIGHLY encouraged for any of those interested in running or simply who a LTG is!
  2. Transportation will not be provided for this event, but if you have difficulties with that please let me or Mr. Tobias (cnh.regio...@gmail.com) know!

District Recognition
What is recognition? Well, it is recognizing someone for doing a great job! There is division recognition in which clubs, officers, members and advisors can participate in! Winners will be showcased at the 2018 CNH District Convention in Reno, NV.

Division 31 Judging Committee

Join the committee to help judge the division awards! 
We will be looking through the division awards and judging them using a rubric provided by the District Member Recognition Committee, NOT by personal bias/opinions. There will no service hours provided but instead a rewarding experience!! I will also buy you any grande drink from Starbucks for being a part of the committee. At least one person from every club must sign up.

Save the Date! Rose Float Decorating
​Every year, Key Clubbers take part in cutting flowers and decorating floats for the annual Rose Float parade. It is a full day event in which you can volunteer and meet new Key Clubbers from all over SoCal​! We will be traveling in buses as a region.
