HELLO DIVISION 22 MAKAI!

Can you believe that HCON 2024 is already almost a week away?! In order to get ready for our upcoming activities, please review the following:

HCON Schedule

The link to access the finished HCON Schedule can be found [HERE]! Find the itinerary of Saturday and Sunday’s events & activities, as well as a map of Hilo High School’s Campus!

Workshop Matrix

The workshop matrix for HCON has been finalized! Access the list of workshops & workshop descriptions [HERE]! To make sure each workshop has an even amount of attendees, we will be giving clubs a certain amount of tickets for each workshop. Tickets will be given out to club advisors during registration.

Prior to HCON, please think about which workshops you would like to attend to make it easier to separate members the day of!

There will be no tickets for advisors, as they are allowed to go to any workshop they would like.

Packing List

All prepared for HCON but not sure what to bring? Access the HCON Packing List containing all of the needed items and attire found [HERE]! Dress code for each day is as follows:

  • Pre-Convention – Club or School Attire, trousers/jeans, covered shoes, outdoor clothes that are able to get dirty, appropriate swimwear, and slippers

  • Saturday (Convention) – Club or School attire, trousers/jeans, covered shoes, and Aloha attire (to change for dinner)

  • Sunday (Convention) – Division attire or colors, trousers/jeans, and covered shoes

Club Contributions

We are hoping that each club can bring AT LEAST TWO (2) items per club attendee at Hawaii Convention! We are asking for any kind of non-perishable, individually-packaged snacks to provide to all attendees. Although not required, try to bring something unique from your island area. We also are in-need of assorted packages of candy, which we will use in our table centerpieces!

Thank you for reading through this email! Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!
