HCON WORKSHOP FACILITATOR APPLICATION

Do you want to host a workshop at HCON 2024? Apply to be a workshop facilitator!

A workshop facilitator will need to prepare a slideshow presentation and activity based on a concept related to either club or individual development. Workshop topics have been selected, so please choose topics you feel confident presenting. There can be up to two workshop facilitators for each workshop, and you can apply with other people you would like to do the workshop with. You can also indicate that you would be open to doing the workshop with another person from somewhere else in Hawai’i! You do not need to have any experience presenting a workshop; you will be paired with a member that has experience and knowledge! In addition, being a workshop facilitator counts towards MRP requirements. The link to apply to be a workshop facilitator can be found below. Applications close on January 13th, 2024 at 11:59 PM.

TALENT SHOW PERFORMANCE APPLICATION

Do you have a special talent or skill? Showcase it in the HCON Talent Show!

At HCON, each entry will perform during the Talent Show towards the end of the day. There will be an overall HCON Talent Show winner based on who receives the highest judging score, as well as a winner for each division’s highest scorer. Winners will be able to receive a certificate award on-stage at the HCON Awards Session.

Make sure your submission stays under the time limit of three minutes, and is identical to how it would be performed at HCON. The deadline for video submissions is January 28, 2024 at 6:00 PM! Note that any props or items used throughout the routine must be brought to HCON individually. Following the submission, the Region 18 Team will judge the entries, and the top three submissions from each division will move on to perform at HCON!

Guidelines

All of the information regarding how entries will be scored and the specific rules for submissions can be found [HERE] in the Talent Guidelines! Please reach out if you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the guidelines!
