I just wanted to share my experience doing a preliminary interview with one of our awesome women in agile, Kathleen Mayfield. This call was just to go over the possible interview questions, so she can decide which ones she wants to tackle in the recorded interview. I dreaded the call because in truth I am a shy person with a terrible phone phobia. But I had been able to listen to Mike talking to Marlena last week, and that helped. This morning I got panicky, and Deb helped me out.
The call went great. Kathleen is amazing. She is working on a PhD and also works for this awesome non-profit. She loves her job. She works on three different projects. She focuses on the people side of things, helping people collaborate. She has a busy personal life with kids and pets and chaos.
If we can't get at least some recorded interviews of these awesome women ready for the conference, I am going to be so bummed out. Thanks again for Mike for doing all the heavy lifting on this. If anyone can spare any time - this call today took about 30 minutes, then the real interview will be a bit over an hour.
Also we maybe need editing help, I know Mike said he can edit the videos / audios, but there isn't a lot of time. I don't know how to edit.
Thanks,
Lisa
