Please give some feedback ASAP for the blurb below. It is suppose to
introduce the series and the program. I have registered
diversityinagile.org as a nice , short and memorable URL that can be
the main reference point for the evolving program.

" The Diversity in Agile program is a series of exhibition led,
volunteer run projects to highlight , support and inspire the
increased participation of under-represented groups in Agile Software
Development and the wider Agile community.

As the first in the series, The Women In Agile program , funded by the
Agile Alliance , is focused on celebrating the stories of woman , all
over the world , who are doing awesome work in agile teams,
organisations and in the community.
The centerpiece of the program is a multimedia exhibition of
interviews and footage , celebrating the stories some of the most
inspiring women - many totally unrecognised - from all over the world.
There are many other stories captured and celebrated also in the
program , that form a publicly accessible site.

The women whose stories are celebrated and featured in the Women In
Agile program are all introduced to the program team by their peers,
team members and others who appreciate and are inspired by their
contributions.

Very nice. Clear, crisp, and descriptive. I love that you have the
umbrella URL and I _really_ like the tag line. "our differences make
us better"! Brilliant.

After hearing Scott Page's xp2010 keynote, we have the science to
prove it. What do you think of linking to that video on the DiA website?

overall great! small number of copyedit suggestions inline. - changes are bolded

1) add quotes to clarify:  -  woman -> women - omit unnecessary commas, awesome -> outstanding

As the first in the series, The Women In Agile program , funded by the Agile Alliance , is focused on celebrating the stories of woman, all over the world  who are doing awesome work in agile teams, organisations and in the community.

2)

The women whose stories are celebrated and featured in the Women In Agile program are all introduced to the program team by their peers, team members and others who appreciate and are inspired by their contributions.

Thank you to everyone who review, I incorporated the suggestions and
this is what I sent...

" The Diversity in Agile program is a series of exhibition led,

Development and the wider Agile community.

As the first in the series, The "Women In Agile" program , funded by

all over the world who are doing awesome work in agile teams,

organisations and in the community.

The centrepiece of the program is a multimedia exhibition of
interviews and footage , celebrating the stories of some of the most
inspiring women - often unrecognised - from all over the world.

There are many other stories captured and celebrated also in the

program , all of which are publicly and freely available on the
program website.

oh, I'm too late. I was going to say, it might be good to add something to the effect of "...in order to change women's perceptions of our industry with real world examples of women who love contributing on agile teams". It seems that some people don't understand the reason we want to celebrate these women. I think we want to do it so that people who might have perceived software development as an unwelcoming environment can see it in a different light.

Oops sorry Lisa - I think there is plenty around and will be by the
time this program guide is printed , to support the statement you
wanted to add.

Though I would question whether it is perceptions that need to change
rather than the industry itself - but that is whole different
discussion.
