Youtrigger the shadow pieces to spawn & hop onto a boat safely off shore with gunpowder placed on the shore. The bishop and rook follow you to your boat due to their teleporting mechanics, but the knight can't teleport and can't walk on water, so he is stuck against the shore, once you kill the bishop & rook you have 40 level 3 shadow knights, which is 200 nightmare fuel, 40 dark swords & 40 shadow atrium's once you ignite the gunpowder you placed earlier.

A simple fix to this would be to allow the shadow pieces to pass over water, they're shadows after all. Boats and traversable water were added long after the atrium & fuelweaver, so this is an oversight from an update as apposed to a feature that was meant to be implemented.

Randall "Rand" Spector was the son of Rabbi Elias Spector, hailing from Chicago, Illinois. He and his older brother Marc were close as children, but Rand resented Marc, who seemed superior to him in every competition. Marc protected his brother from anti-Semitic bullies at school.[8] Once grown, the two both joined the US Military and later became mercenaries. Except in various assignments for the CIA, the two brothers worked side by side on missions.[8] During an assignment gunrunning in Italy, Rand intended to sell out his opposition. He killed Lisa Maloney, a woman who Marc was involved with and before she died, he told Marc of Rand's betrayal. He hunted Rand down, chasing his brother for two days and two nights until he lobbed a grenade at him, which mangled and almost killed him.[2]

When Randall recovered, now with a broken mind, he began a spree as a serial killer who preyed on nurses.[2] He went back to work and on another assignment in Egypt, working for a group of rebels on the border with Sudan, not knowing brother Marc was with in the group and ended up getting shot and being left for dead among the rest swearing vengeance against Marc and Bushman.[9] After his group battled his brother and his team was left for dead, he tracked his group to the Tomb of Pharaoh Seti. He arrived just as his brother had been killed and then was restored to life by the Statue of Khonshu to become the deity's avatar of vengeance: Moon Knight. Rand explored the tomb and discovered a parchment in a hidden room which purported to the will of Khonshu. The document claimed there were two Khonshus and that one gained the power by slaying the other. Rand saw a similarity to the relationship depicted and to what he had as his brother: thus, Randall was inspired to take his brother's title away from him.[10]

Rand brought the parchments to his fellow CIA agent Sandahl Swarn who had been involved in the CIA Operation: Cobra in order to behaviour condition agents. She stole technology to begin a scheme around taking on the alias of Nepthys after the goddess. Nepthys brainwashed a man into believing he was Randall and gave him plastic surgery to resemble him. By twisting his mind, he became the Hatchet-Man[11] and was sent out into Manhattan to kill nurses with a hatchet mimicking Randall. The imposter nearly claimed Marlene, Marc's girlfriend, as well when she masqueraded as a nurse to draw him out. He confronted his "brother" and while they were fighting near a cave he lunged and was knocked into and impaled on a tree. Marc believed his brother was truly dead.[12]

For a while he watched his brother from the shadows.[13] When the moon and stars were finally aligned, as was described in the parchment, Rand and Nepthys struck at Moon Knight themselves, to which they recruited the Cult of Khonshu. It was revealed former Egyptian criminal Plasma was sent by them.[14] Rand destroyed the Moon Knight's manor home and sent a fake Hatchet-Man to attack Marlene. During the attack, Marc's friend Frenchie was crippled in the process. Randall obtained A.I.M. technology which granted him superhuman powers like his brother. However the Punisher picked up A.I.M.'s trail and helped Moon Knight track down Randall and Nepthys.[15] They used technology to turn him into the Shadow Knight, a dark duplicate of the Moon Knight, but the hunted down Moon Knight and the Punisher killed Nepthys.[9] Rand's mental state continued to degrade and he resumed the Hatchet-Man serial killings of the imposter he created, targeting more nurses in the process until he was finally killed by the Punisher.[5] But he was later resurrected, serving the Hellbent and assumed the guise of Night Shadow.[3]

Years later, Randall attempted to commit suicide but was saved by The Profile working for The Hand, and was convinced that he was the new avatar of Khonshu. Randall dubbed himself Shadowknight and attempted to get Marc's attention. First, he carried out a string of murders for Moon Knight to find him. He then attacked Moon Knight's pregnant girlfriend, Marlene, and caused a miscarriage. Marc then chased Randall to New Orleans, while Randall was looking for the Sapphire Crescent. He unmasked Shadowknight and discovered that it really was Randall, whom he thought had been killed by Punisher. Randall then managed to escape while Marc was still in shock and acquired the crescent. Meanwhile, Marc made a deal with Khonshu that he would be empowered if he killed for Khonshu. Marc found Randall and took the crescent from him and also managed to defeat Randall. However, many innocents in the crowd were killed and all of Marc's weapons had been discarded or broken. Randall strapped a bomb to himself and threatened to destroy the block and kill even more innocents, but Moon Knight, out of options, threw the Sapphire Crescent at his throat before he could pull the trigger, cutting Randall's magically enhanced skin and killing him, just as Marc promised Khonshu he would.[6]

There is only one requirement for a person to become a shadowknight: they have to die. Anyone who dies has the potential to become a shadowknight. Whether they actually become one or not depends entirely on whether they would be of use to the Shadow Lord or not.

Not everyone who dies is able to become a Shadowknight. The Shadow Lord, especially without a physical form, is not strong enough to reach out to all dead souls. Souls that are more vengeful/angry in death are easier for the Shadow Lord to locate, and so are souls of those that die in the Nether. There are also specific rituals that can make it easier for Shadow Lord to reach out to a specific soul, but these are uncommon since they take a lot of time and effort to do successfully. Only very valuable potential Shadowknights get this kind of treatment. (This is what happened to Laurance.)

This target will be different for each Shadowknight. The only requirements of this target are that it has to be someone the Shadowknight cared about during their life, and that the Shadow Lord is the one who picks the final target. (So if you were a guard of a village, even if you cared about someone else more, your target would probably still be the lord you were protecting, since the death of a lord would cause a lot more chaos.)

A Shadowknight who has reached this next level of immortality is virtually unkillable. Their physical body can be destroyed, but they will reform in the Nether in a new, identical body if this ever happens. (Their new, reformed body will be identical to the first one that they reform as, not identical to however they currently look. So if they lost a hand as a Shadowknight, died, and reformed, they would reform with their hand back. If they lost a hand before becoming a Shadowknight, they would always reform without that hand.)

With no body or mind left, Shadow Souls lose themselves quickly. They lose little pieces of themself until there is nothing left but a mindless, vengeful soul. Even the strongest, most collected Shadowknight would lose themself as a Shadow Soul in a matter of days. They have no desires other than wanting to be alive and have a body again.

Most Shadowknights will fight back against being consumed. Shadow Souls are easier targets. Full Shadowknights are much harder to consume since they are much more sentient/mindful/powerful/motivated by the will to reform, and often flee instead of being consumed. Also, their body must be destroyed before their soul can be consumed, which adds an extra step to the already tiring process.

Some Shadowknights become nothing more than a puppet for the Shadow Lord, a creature with no thoughts or will of their own. This usually occurs immediately upon being reborn as a Shadowknight due to the trauma of the event, but can also occur over time in Shadowknights who have lost a sense of self or sense of purpose.

Shadowknights who have lost their sentience can never regain it, presumably because parts of them have already passed on and do not wish to/are not able to return. A Shadowknight without their sentience has eyes that are permanently cloudy-looking and less reflective (like how eyes cloud over on death).

The body of a Shadowknight is different from the body of a human. All Shadowknights are naturally stronger, fastier, hardier, and heal quicker than the average human. They are literally made for the sole intention of being mass-killing soldiers, so it only makes sense that their new bodies reflect that.

When they heal, no scars are left behind. The only scars a Shadowknight will have are ones they obtained previously, before or on death. The only exceptions to this rule are if they lose a limb/eye/etc. If the Shadowknight is able to reform when they die, then their lost limb/eye/etc. will be back when they reform.

Some Shadowknights gain new abilities in addition to the ones all Shadowknights gain by default. Oddly enough, Shadowknights who already have a preexisting magickal/witchcraft affinity are less likely to receive one of these abilities. Most gain only one from the following list, but very rarely can gain two. From most to least common, the list is as follows:
