What happens to my Netflix account if I move?
Your Netflix subscription relationship is with Netflix directly, even if you signed up through Xfinity X1. Because of this, a move will not impact your subscription unless you are billed by Comcast, in which case, you will need to update your method of payment for Netflix.
Note: You'll need to sign in to Netflix again once you activate the boxes at your new address. If you move and no longer have Xfinity services, you will no longer be billed by Comcast and must update your payment method for Netflix or risk losing your Netflix Service.
If you have a previous, valid method of payment (credit or debit card, for example) on file with Netflix, Netflix will charge your previous method of payment. Contact Netflix to cancel your Netflix account after changing your service package with Comcast.

I'm asking is because I recently acquired a slightly used Roku TV that had 1 previous owner. In retrospect I probably should have asked my brother to help me do a factory reset while he was hooking it up and before I downloaded and signed in to my various streaming channels, but I was so excited to try it being a first time Smart TV User that it slipped my mind. You can change the email address on your Roku account at That updates the account itself. The email address shown on your Roku device should update the next time it communicates with the Roku servers.
If you want to change the user account on a Roku device, you have to do a factory reset and configure it with the new account. All your existing installed channels will be removed and whatever channels attached to the new account will be installed. You will have to add any personal login credentials again for channels that require a login, such as Netflix.
So i tried from a web browser, on my mac, to reset the email address linked to my Netflix account: I changed it with *the very same* email! This somehow unlocked the Netlix login policy and I could login from my Apple TV 2 with no other problems.
