Dear Members,
Three months into the year and we have more qualified Dive La Trobers!
Congratulations to Marie-Claire Schieber, Jack Douglass and Francisco "Pancho" Martinez, who last month completed their PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. Congrats also to Chris Lethbridge and Laura Elkington, who became qualified Open Water Divers just last weekend. It's great to have all of these members on board and enjoying some beautiful Autumn diving!
For those who haven't been to the club recently, here's an idea of what's going on...
Courses
- Our April PADI Open Water Diver course has just one position remaining. To secure your spot, email in...@divelatrobe.org.au.
- We have planned continuing education courses for the month of May, including Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Wreck Diver and Deep Diver. Numbers will dictate which of these will run and when, so please let us know.
Events
- Tomorrow night is Trivia Night! The evening will kick off at 7:30pm in the Sports Centre. Tickets remain and may be purchased online or at the door for just $5, which includes food. Feel free to bring along any and all friends, everyone is welcome!
- For those who are already qualified but feel as though they need a little SCUBA tune-up, we have a refresher evening scheduled May 7th. Jump into the pool with one of our instructors, focus on what you feel is lacking, and prepare yourself for more enjoyable dives in the ocean. Positions are limited, email us now to secure yours.
