Official DIVA-2.0 Release Announcement and Transition to New Forum (www.diva4rhino.com)!

Dear participants in the DIVA for Rhino Google group,

 

We would like to announce the official release of DIVA-2.0. We have made significant improvements in the new release, and we are excited to share these new features with you. To sustain and expand development of DIVA we have formed a partnership called Solemma, LLC and have released DIVA-2.0 with 30-day-trial, commercial and educational versions. This means that new versions of DIVA will cost money for some users. The commercial version is intended for practitioners and professional use, but DIVA will remain free for educational users. In addition, there is a free 30-day-trial version, and DIVA-1.9 and the DIVA-Grasshopper components will remain free for all users.

 

We think the community on the Google User’s group is important.  As part of the release, we are migrating the DIVA-for-Rhino Google group and the Wiki to our new site www.diva4rhino.com. It should be easier for users to share images and animations and find answers to their questions. I hope you join us on the new site and take a free test drive of DIVA-2.0. The thoughts, questions, and recommendations of our users remain a vital part of future development.

Postscript: We have a new DIVA installer that is available for download from the www.solemma.net website. This version fixes some bugs and presents a much smoother installation process compared to the DIVA-2.0 version that has been there for the last week. If you installed the earlier version using the old installer, we recommend you to uninstall it and then install the official release version.
