Hey All,

I have several questions regarding Illumance simulations in grasshopper.

1) I'm trying to automate a series of tests in which a grasshopper
animated slider controls the floor plate. After setting the initial
nodes in diva-for-rhino to the base rhino surface, is there a way for
the nodes to move as the floor plate moves?

2) Is there a way to get the results from a diva-for-grasshopper
illumination simulation in graphical format? Currently, it seems as
though you are only able to see the results in the .dat file. I'd
like for it to be similar to an animated radiation map image as it
scrolls thru its frame count.

Thanks everyone. Any and all help would be great.

Hi Patrick,
You will need to override the DIVA for Rhino nodes file by using the Pts and Vec input in the grasshopper component. Right now, it is probably easiest to just mesh your floor surface and then take the vertices and normals of the mesh and use them for the pts and vec input, then you can rebuild the mesh using the color gradient for the data.
Check out the examples at the bottom of this wiki page:
