Last and final reminder for the very miniscule number of Vth Year students who need multiple reminders

Dear Students of Vth Year B Pharm + MBA, A and B Divisions,

I am very pleased with the prompt response of a vast number of Students of Vth Year B Pharm + MBA, A and B Divisions regarding the assignments for BSM, ACMS and MOS assignments wherever applicable.

Students started turning in good quality of assignments from the very next day onwards of receiving the brief from me. Almost all the assignments have already been submitted by the students.

I have individually acknowledged each and every assignment by email. If you have not received my acknowledgement then you will have to resend it to me at the earliest before the respective deadlines for each of the 3 assignments are over.

It appears that a very small number of students still need reminders. This is the last and final reminder from my side. If I do not receive the assignments by the due date I will have no way of assigning them any marks. So it will be zero out of 10 for non-submission of assignments. You are requested to take care of the Word Count requirement as well as the submission deadline specifications.

1. Assignment for Business Strategy Management: 

You have learnt about seven characteristics of an effectively worded Strategic Vision Statement. As briefed to you earlier about this assignment, please pick any well known company, Indian or Global Pharma / Healthcare Company, and analyse the Company's Vision and Mission statements with respect to the seven desirable characteristics of an effective Vision statement and also its shortcomings. Please also comment on whether the Company's Mission statement contains all the characteristics of a desirable Mission statement. 

However if you admire any Indian or Global Pharma / Healthcare company which has replaced their earlier Vision and Mission statements with a "Purpose" statement, then you may submit your write-up on the same.

Your total word count should be 900 words or more to be submitted as a Word document (not pdf) to my email id ashu...@gmail.com by midnight of Sunday, May 21st, 2023 or earlier.  Total marks 10.

2. ACMS assignment options and submission deadline.

I am giving you the choice of submitting your minor assignment on any one out of these two options.

1. Option 1

In ACMS, you have learnt in great detail the topic "Product Portfolio Analysis".

Please submit an 800-word write-up explaining the concept of "Product Portfolio Analysis" and how the analysis is helpful to any Marketing person or an organisation to formulate and implement the Product and Growth Strategies in the Pharma or a Healthcare context.

1. Adopter Sequence (Diffusion of Innovations) 

Please submit an 800-word write-up on the concept of Diffusion of Innovations, put forward by Prof. Everett Rogers, an American communication theorist and sociologist. He originated the theory of the "Diffusion of Innovations" and introduced the term innovator, early adopter, early majority etc. Please explain his concepts and how they are helpful to a Pharma / Healthcare Marketing person and an organisation to formulate and implement their Product and Promotion Strategies.

3. "Marketing of Services" assignment

Please submit an 800-word write-up explaining the importance of "Recovery from Service Failures" and discuss strategies for effective service recovery, including ways to "fix the customer" after a service failure and to "fix the problem" keeping in mind the context of Healthcare services.
