What are the ethical challenges faced by Indian Pharmaceutical Industry especially in relation to its promotional practices?

In light of Indian Ethos and Ethics of Transcendence what are the different measures Indian Pharmaceutical Industry should undertake in immediate, and long term to augment ethical promotional practices and ensure that they do the ‘right things’ for all stakeholders in order to live up to its leadership title of being the ‘Pharmacy of the World’.

 

Please submit your essay in an appropriately formatted word document on or before 28^th May 2023.

Please note that essay ask students to demonstrate a point of view supported by evidence to assess students' higher order thinking - analysis, reasoning, synthesis, and evaluation skills.

This would allow you to demonstrate what you have learned and helps build your writing skills. It would allow you to answer the question in a variety of ways and demonstrate depth and creativity.

It would allow for deep learning and connections; draw on research and reasoning to provide justification and show integration; and be structured in different ways.

Out of 20 marks, I would assign:

Content, Bias for Solution – 10 marks

Original thinking – 5 marks

Presentation/Writing Skills – 5 marks

Note: Please DO NOT use any kind of generative pre-trained transformers(GPT) like – Chat GPT which would disqualify you.
