Thefirst data from a sample of 600 000 cars indicates that the real-world fuel consumption and CO2 emissions from diesel and petrol vehicles on the road are around 20% higher than indicated by the official values from the standardised WLTP type-approval test used for regulatory purposes. This discrepancy is in line with what the Commission had anticipated.

For plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, the real-world CO2 emissions were on average 3.5 times higher than the laboratory values, which confirms that these vehicles are currently not realising their potential, largely because they are not being charged and driven fully electrically as frequently as assumed.

As the dataset expands over the coming years and its representativeness of the evolving fleet improves, it will be possible to determine how the gap evolves and whether further steps should be taken to avoid it growing.

For vans, the 2021 dataset was insufficient for an in-depth analysis. The dataset was small because, for most vans, it was only mandatory to be equipped with on-board fuel consumption monitoring devices as of 2022.

F1 23 cars are way too fast they need slowing down as they are over 1.5/2 seconds faster than Real life F1 Times which is not realistic so the Performance needs slowing down on all tracks so the performance on F1 23 is matching the real life Performance

As most at Austria in multiplayer are doing 1.3's in 1 Shot Qualifying so if they did short quali or full Qualifying the times could get into the low 1.3s or maybe even a high 1.02 on F1 23 game on Equal Performance

So the performance on equal obviously needs slowing down on all tracks so the cars performance is actually matching real life Performance times so it's relastic not like 1.5/2 seconds faster on game than real life times.

@JRVolts Every official F1 game released on consoles has had the same problem, happens every year. For example, way back on F1 97, you probably needed a 1:09 or 1:10 around Monaco to out qualify the hardest AI. The real pole position that year in Monaco was a 1:18

@JRVoltsHave you looked at what laptimes the do in Iracing (a hardcore sim) with a Merc car approved my Merc themselfes? They are even faster than what they are in F1 23..

People can risk more in a game, use more extreme setups which grant faster times at more risk or tyre wear, its not a full sim so its more forgiving which leads to more exploitable behaviour through setups.. If anything they need to nerf high speed grip but i rather think its a matter of camber of a corner, something the game is still far from perfect at as many other things but its definitely not a problem because the fastest players are going faster than real life.. Try it with someone constantly shaking your body and see how much time you lose alone to that..

Its really not as easy as just comparing the end result

Edit: Plus track conditions! They also make a big difference ask a driver what time difference it makes with 30 track temps and 55 track temps and as @ADunky said track inaccuracy itself makes also plenty of difference!

I would also add how accurate are the races tracks? Are any of the tracks in f1 23 laser scanne?. Even if you got the cars 100% accurate to real life. If the tracks are wrong, the times will be wrong.

This study, a meta-analysis of PEMS data from EU (Euro 6) and US (Tier 2 Bin 5/ULEV II) diesel passenger cars, documents the wide discrepancy that exists between official certification or type-approval emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from new diesel passenger cars and actual NOX emissions from those vehicles during real-world, everyday operation.

This study analyzed the on-road emissions performance of fifteen new diesel passenger cars, twelve certified to the Euro 6 standard and three to the US equivalent (Tier 2 Bin 5), using portable emissions measurement systems (PEMS), which provide a continuous stream of vehicle data signals including emission rates, velocity, acceleration, road gradient and exhaust temperature.

Emissions were measured over 97 trips, totaling more than 140 hours of operation and 6,400 kilometers driven. The high temporal and spatial resolution of PEMS datasets permitted the analysis to link elevated NOx mass emission rates to the driving conditions that caused them.

This is the first systematic analysis of the real-world performance of modern diesel passenger cars, and the most comprehensive profile available of the on-road behavior of the latest generation of diesel passenger cars.

On average, real-world NOx emissions from the tested vehicles were about seven times higher than the limits set by the Euro 6 standard. If applied to the entire new vehicle fleet, this would correspond to an on-road level of about 560 mg/km of NOx (compared to the regulatory limit under Euro 6 of 80 mg/km). This is compelling evidence of a real-world NOx compliance issue for recent-technology diesel passenger cars, for both the EU and US test vehicles.

Performance differences among the vehicles tested indicate that the technologies for real-world clean diesels already exist. Some of the tested vehicles had average emissions below Euro 6 emission limits, suggesting that the technologies to achieve that level of performance are available, but that policies are not yet in place that can force manufacturers use these technologies and calibrate them to effectively control emissions over the majority of in-use operating conditions, not just those covered by the test cycle.

design no you can copy it, logo names and such you need permission commercial or not as they are property of the companies they represent. Just do the old name change Ford becomes Sword and Ka becomes La so a Ford KA becomes a Sword LA same thing for guns, if someone who cares enough about cars to know what car is what comes on i doubt they will complain, if anything they will be bragging to there friends about what car is what, same thing for guns though you can usually get away with leaving the company name out, so instead of Avtomat Kalashnikov 47 u say ar47 or Colt m4a1 becomes CTM4 not to hard to do and a hell of alot cheaper lolz.

Many thanks for your replies! It helped me much.

So Im going to make cars, that only look a bit like an original, but without beeing exactly their design.

Same with the names, so I think this might safe me from being attacked by any lawyers.

You cant use real car in your game. It is going even so far, that you have to pay (usually quite a lot), because car companies dont take it as advertisement and they even dictate you how much can their car in game crash and how much can be deformed (!!!). We are living in age of idiotism.

Is the same thing as if you deliver a complete free game, manufactores dont give a dam if you provide coins or simelons as payments to your customers this is all about intelectual property, free or comercial, i come from some years in rfactor modding scene and mods are not standalone games, it gives room for some risks but manufactors can and eventual will bitch about it, enduracers modding team were building porshe supercup mod for rfactor and they were contacted by porshe to drop imedeatly, as far as the info about was realeased, the best way is to become a designer of own designs, tbh is were relys a good racing indie game in my opinion.

You've probably heard of the Cars franchise, and there's also a good chance you have seen at least one of their three movies. This franchise has expanded greatly over the years as it began to encompass video games, sought after merchandise lines, and other short films. It also inspired a love for cars in the young people who watched theses movies as children.

Several cars in these movies were based off or inspired by actual real-life cars. Some of the cars, like Lightning McQueen for example, were entirely made up vehicles that were a new creation all its own. Keep reading to learn about ten real-life cars that made an appearance in Disney's Cars movies.

Darrell Cartrip made an appearance in all three Cars movies, but what you might not have known was that he was based off a 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo. They gave this car an upgrade by giving him a flame design, but if you had transformed it to a simple red, it would be immediately recognizable.

It might look a little different than your standard Monte Carlo, but that is due to the fact that Cartrip was used as a racing car before he took up announcing. His speeches are as fun as this car is to drive, and it is an ode to the commentator who raced this vehicle back in 1977.

A full-sized Mater is on display in Galena, Kansas and it closely resembles a 1951 International Harvester L-170 Boom Truck. Tow Mater isn't a simple being though because he also takes some design aspects from a Chevrolet 3800 and a 1957 Dodge truck.

Mater has rusted just like any old Harvester truck, and you can see the aspects they took from this prominent vehicle. He might be missing his hood, but that doesn't mean we failed to see the similarities in the wheels and truck bed design.

This is probably one of the characters in the movie who has the closest resemblance to her real-life counterpart. Her last name even holds a piece of the original 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera's name. When you watch the movie she even sounds like her counterpart with the same 320-horsepower engine that has her flying to sixty in less than five seconds.

The moviemakers even added subtle touches like the Porsche logo on her hood and the name of the vehicle under the spoiler. It is truly an animated rendition and the production team made sure that we knew this car was made by none other than Porsche.
