Google Voice gives you a phone number for calls, texts, and voicemails. You can use this number to make domestic and international calls from your web browser and mobile devices. If you're in the US, you can choose your own number.
We have a very simple setup but I'm not sure how to succeed in what we need to do. We have SBC#1 which is in the cloud and connected to the PSTN using SIP trunks. We have SBC#2 which is on-premises and connected to an IP-PBX in an office.
All we need is for everything dialled in Teams to go to SBC#1 unless it's a 3 digit extension such as 2xx, 3xx, 4xx. In that case we would like the call to go to SBC#2 which will route the call to the IP-PBX.
I'm not sure the simplest way to achieve this. Currently we simply have a Routing Policy which has a single voice route sending .* to SBC#1 and onwards to the PSTN. How can we make M365 notice a 2xx number and route it to SBC#2?
What you will what to do is add a new rule into your dial plan as you may find that by calling a 3 digit extension number from Teams is that Teams will add a normalisation rule to it which would then not match your voice route. e.g 234 could turn into +44234
Voice uses Google AI to help save you time by blocking spam calls and transcribing voicemails to text automatically. Integrations with Google Meet and Calendar help keep the focus on what's important.
Our sales team now uses Google Voice to call and text customers from their smartphones, tablets, and the web. And because it is considerably more affordable to operate than our legacy VoIP systems, we continue to steadily expand our usage of Google Voice.
To port numbers out of Genesys Cloud Voice, contact your new carrier to arrange for them to take over management of the new numbers. Your new carrier provides you the appropriate Letter of Authorization (LOA) form along with instructions on how to proceed with the port operation. This form allows you to provide the information that is required to authorize your new carrier to port your numbers out of Genesys Cloud Voice.
After you port out the numbers and remove them from the Genesys Cloud Voice Number Management list, you are no longer charged by Genesys Cloud for your usage of those numbers. However, you are charged a prorated amount of the monthly recurring charge for the current billing cycle.

We seem to be unable to assign Google Voice numbers to any of our users now. The error we get is "Unable to assign phone number. Try again". It seems to just happen on loop, doesn't matter what user we try to assign a number to, doesn't matter what the phone number or location is, and it doesn't matter which Admin goes in to try and assign the number.
i would encourage you to work with your internal teams to either get you permissions to contact support or have those teams that do have access, file a support ticket. If this is having business impact it should be something they would want to support and get an answer to.
Thinking of voice recording the numbers, I already got Spanish and English covered, and I thought it will be a great addition if I had a few more languages, so if you have a nice and clear recording voice and fancy recording numbers 1 to 10 in another language that will be great, also will give you credit for your contribution.
Cheers.
The first part in bold is the language, the second is the actual text (ordinary spaces are allowed in the url).
Once that runs in your browser, an mp3 file will be stored on your computers temp folder (sort by descending date and it will be the first mp3 on the list).
Hope that helps,
Alex
I'm trying to get an accessibilityValue with a decimal number on a custom UIView to readout as "twenty point one", for example, similar to how voice over reads out the duration and keyframe values on the video trimmer when editing a video in the Photos app.
Got it! Formatting a number using a NumberFormatter with a style of .spellOut will generate a string with the fully spelled out value. Not what we want for a label's text, but exactly what we want for an accessibility label.

Use voice access to interact with the items on your screen by the name of the item or by using the number overlays. You can, for example, use voice commands to click or double-click items, or move the focus to an item. For a list of voice access commands, go to Voice access command list.
Voice access is a feature in Windows 11 that enables everyone to control their PC and author text using only their voice and without an internet connection. For example, you can open and switch between apps, browse the web, and read and author email using your voice. For more information, go to Use voice access to control your PC & author text with your voice.
Voice access is available in Windows 11, version 22H2 and later. For more information on Windows 11 22H2 new features, and how to get the update, see What's new in recent Windows updates. Not sure which version of Windows you have? See: Find Windows version.
Voice access supports partial matches. If the name of the item is a combination of discrete words, you can provide just one or more discrete words in the command and voice access will perform a partial match.
For example, in the Windows Settings app, to select Privacy & security, you can say "Click privacy" or "Click security" and voice access identifies the right option. You can say any word in the item name, but it must be a discrete word.
For example, in the Windows Network & internet setting, to set up a dial-up internet connection, say "Click dial hyphen up" to select the Dial-up menu. Voice access will treat it as the menu name and find the matching item. Alternatively, you can just say "Click dial up."
For example, in the Windows Sound settings, to add a new sound input device, say "Click add device." In this case, voice access identifies two Add device buttons on the screen, one under the Input section and the other under the Output section. Voice access then attaches a numbered label on the matches and prompts you to select the number of the button you want to click.
If you are unsure of the name of an item on the screen, you can use the number overlays to interact with the item. When you turn on the overlays, the items on the screen are tagged with numbered labels, and then you can say the number corresponding to the item to interact with it.

The voice channel provides up to two trial phone numbers with limited free calling time for your organization. When you run the voice trial for the first time, you're automatically assigned a toll-free trial phone number. The total free calling time for the two trial phone numbers is 60 minutes.
The trial phone number is a toll-free US number, so you'll be able to call this number from within US only. To be able to receive international calls, we recommend that you use a geographic US number as your second trial number. If you're calling the geographic number from outside the US, then international carrier rates will apply.
If you want to end the trial before it expires, select End trial on the Phone numbers page. Then, you'll be able to connect to Azure Communication Services using new or existing resources. More information: Connect to Azure Communication Services
You can add new phone numbers to your Lumen Voice Complete service by submitting a change request. If you have phone numbers with another provider, you can also port telephone numbers to Lumen and add them to your Voice Complete service with a single request.
I had to rely on the voice call bypass for the provided OpsGenie numbers for convenience, as the OpsGenie Android app's notification bypass isn't very helpful. The Android app can only take the phone out of silence / vibration mode without setting it back afterwards. The phone could ring for notifications from other apps afterwards, and I would have to toggle the switch to set it back to the silence or the vibration-only modes.
If new phone numbers are added in the future, it'd be ideal if Atlassian communicated this to us. Our team members weren't aware that there was a vCard update until one of our China-based engineers missed an alert call from the new number.
Thanks for your reply and while I like your answer, it contradicts what several Xfinity customer service reps have told me. I have heard that the main phone will not ring while also hearing that it may only ring one time but with no caller id. Can you please share an article that documents that the main home will also ring with caller id along with the phones that were forwarded? Also would like someone that uses this feature to also confirm it does work before I'm confident enough to switch to Xfinity voice.
