Index page generation for RTF or ODT plugin

Hi, I am looking for help to generate "index" page for RTF or ODT output from DITA-OT (wordrtf and odt plugin). I am using DITA-OT 2.0, when I generate PDF from sample document provided in DITA-OT (samples\taskbook.ditamap), it does include the index page at last. but for RTF and ODT output there is no index page generated. <indexterm> entries are there in the source.

Can you please help me to understand:

1. Is there any parameter I need to enable in order to get the index page?

2. if out of box plugin does not support index, do you know how to achieve?

Hi Pankaj,

The RTF transformation is far from complete. I started to improve it some time ago but didn't have the time lately to do much work about it. You can find my current code at https://github.com/nakohdo/dita-ot/tree/stripped_rtf/src/main/plugins/org.dita.wordrtf with some information about the RTF format in general so you might be able to tweak the code to generate an index. However, I suppose this won't be easily achieveable, I'm afraid.
