Hi All,

I am trying to figure out a way to use the Release Management domain explained in the following article:

https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/55025/Release_Management_WP.pdf

If anyone is using it, could you please help me understand how XQuery is used to add a Document Revision History topic to the output dynamically?

The article mentions the use of XQuery and provides examples of the output but it does not say how it's done.

Thank you for help in advance.

Regards,

Antony Terrence

Hi Antony,

I have developed a plugin which processes those elements: https://github.com/doctales/org.doctales.release-notes

Best regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Thank you for sharing the plugin. I was about to develop something similar with the help of Oxygen support team.
Apart from the plugin, would you be able to share some insight into how your organization uses the Release Management domain/elements currently?
  1. Do you use change-historylist at the topic level?
  2. DITA also provides other bookmeta elements such as Bookchangehistory
  3. Do you use them too?
I just wanted to make sure that we follow certain universal standards (if any). :)

Regards,
Antony Terrence
