Science and engineering teaching materials make much use of Problems, Solutions and Examples. These three information types are almost identical in structure (they're all essentially tasks) but would be differently titled, at least for PDF, e.g.:
  • Problem 9.1 [numbered even in HTML, but seldom titled]
  • Solution 9.1 [linked to the problem, and not necessarily numbered in sequence]
  • Example: Title [perhaps also numbered, but in a different series].
These differences are in processing rather than semantics, so I'm tempted to try using @outputclass to distinguish between three variants of a single specialised topic type. But @outputclass seems to be generally despised. Can anyone offer me any advice?
