Function for finding root map title?

Hi,

Is there a function or template in the OT or HTML5 plugin that would fetch the root (top level) title of the map, bookmap or topic being processed? 

I see that the HTML5 plugin has a bunch of ready-made custom functions, so it seems like something like this might be useful, if not already implemented.
