Soim in the progress of turbo'ing my dc5, i only need injectors and 2 other things to complete my setup, im just wondering what injectors can i use, can i use evo injectors or do i have to buy certain 1s like RC's etc?

Power goal is around 200-250kw, its only the k20a3 so wont be going over 260wkw or might have some problems lol, 350whp is the max you can take the k20a3 on stock block, ive been searching on ebay, found these, pretty cheap to be honest

Let us know how you get on with it once tuned. My old DC5 iS was turboed after I sold it and barely made 180wkw after talking to Colin at JTune. They are an economy motor after all. Swap it out for a K24 long block and you'll be in for good gains.

I talked to lin at CDM today, he said to me depending on turbo etc, should make 250wkw if not more on the stock block, there's plenty of people over in the states making 330whp on there k20a3's. i ended up buying these injectors today

Im just waiting on my catback exhaust, injectors and turbo kit to come which should be here next week, just need to get fuel pump and ecu and im done for now so can get it all bolted on and tuned, i was going to get KPRO, but lin said KTUNER is $950 plus GST and comes with installation and free dyno tuning. Think i'll just go that route, hoping to have everything bolted up n tuned etc by end of next month, should be an easy target

Im gonna take your advice and take out the k20a3. My gearbox is pretty much fucked, 2nd and 3rd synchros are on there way out, 4th gear will not engage what so ever, there's like a wall blocking it going in, instead of wasting my time getting it rebuilt, im just going to take the engine n gearbox out, im working as many hours at work as i can so i can purchase me a RSX Type S k20a2 engine and 6speed gearbox from the states, just gotta save for the next 6weeks. Its the best thing i can do as i see lots of people over there running 550-750whp on the stock k20a2 blocks and 25psi on them.

Also as a note, there's guys in the states making 500whp+ on stock B18c's, for how long is another story. It's hit and miss whether it holds up with that power on stock rods and sleeves even with bang on tuning. We tend to play it safe over here and shoot for lower numbers for engine longevity and reliability.

Have a look at Dantok's build thread as he's completed a fully built K24 Turbo currently making just shy of 600whp on pump gas. Builds like this will soak up a lot of money regardless of how much work you're able to do yourself, I suggest you put together an excel spreadsheet and try and list as many things as you can think of with realistic prices, then double it, as it's all the little things you don't tend to think about that add up, been there, done that.

You seem to be throwing out pretty big numbers and it's coming across as if you're wanting to do this on a budget. If this is the case my recommendation would be to start with a K24 block as you can pick them up cheap and boost that as a stock block with your 5 speed box rebuilt. You'll still make more than enough usable power for the street and it'll end up cheaper and more reliable (with more off boost torque).

The ID1700x is the most recent offering from the partnership of Injector Dynamics and Bosch Motorsport. The ID1700x was designed to fill the gap between the ID1300x and the ID2000, and like the ID1300x, it features corrosion resistant internals making it compatible with all known automotive fuels.

A unique magnetic circuit, resulting from a lengthy development program, makes the ID1700x immune to voltage and pressure sensitivity problems that plague other high impedance high flow injectors. The ID1700x excels at high pressures typical of current automotive systems, and will perform flawlessly in these applications.

Application Notes

The ID1700x was designed to be an all fuel compatible injector, capable of very high flow rates. As such, it will most often be used to deliver E85 to boosted engines, or occasionally, gasoline in extreme high horsepower applications. Neither of these applications requires extended linearity at low flow rates, and so this was given a proportionately lower priority during the design process.

This injector set is precisely matched using Fuel Injector Clinic's proprietary Data Match Technology. Each injector is individually serial numbered and the results are provided on the Data Match Sheet providing the most complete flow matching and latency value information available in the industry today.

Fuel Injector Clinic injectors are flow tested and rated at 43.5psi (3Bar) at 90deg F fuel temperature using CF-16B calibration fluid.

Superior short pulse width control and state of the art matching make these injectors easy to tune and provide great drivability.

Fuel Injector Clinic injectors are set up to and include all o-rings needed to fit the factory application for the listed vehicle. If you are using aftermarket or other unusual setups please contact us prior to placing your order to make sure you receive injectors that fit properly.

Every injector is covered against failure caused by defects in original manufacture by our lifetime warranty.

This set of injectors requires you to change the injector plug on the wiring harness in your car. This can be done by soldering in the pigtails (included with purchase) to replace the plugs currently on your harness, or you can choose to purchase the optional plug-n-play adaptors which will convert from the type of plugs on these injectors to the plugs on your harness without any need for cutting or soldering.

This plug conversion is made necessary because FIC always chooses to provide brand new, unused injectors for its performance applications. We do not believe that increasing the chance of a failure due to using remanufactured or core program based injectors is ever warranted.

The 1000cc Honda/Acura RSX K20 2.0 fuel injectors are engineered to deliver precise fuel control and atomization, enhancing power and throttle response. They are versatile, supporting a broad spectrum of fuels such as E85, MTBE, FTW, Q16, M5, and C45.

Part of SouthBay's "TruFlow" series, these injectors undergo optimization and flow matching in-house for consistent performance. They are dynamically tested and rated at 43.5psi with CF-16B calibration fluid. Each injector set includes a comprehensive data sheet with detailed specifications.

The Deatschwerks EV14 48mm is a universal Injector known for the K-Series motor for 8th 9th gen civic Si, RSX TSX and any K-Series platform this injector will work for. Great performing and very affordable injectors that can handle a good amount of horsepower for boosted applications.

The Jenvey Honda K20-K20a-K24 electronic fuel injection (EFI) individual throttle body kit (ITB) has been design and developed in house to significantly increase performance and throttle response of your engine leading to a reduction in lap times. This engine was originally fitted into the Honda Integra, Civic Type R EP3, Acura and Honda Accord.

This super light weight Motorsport kit is fully port matched and port aligned with the Honda K20-K24 port angle of 17.5 Degrees. It is commonly used in Formula or Sports Prototype cars where the bonnet does not limit height. Some light porting work may be required to port match on the K24 cylinder heads which is easy with the throttle bodies removed from the manifold. No compromise is made to fit around the water pump system which must be removed / modified. Standard Honda fuel injectors will not fit. See recommended injectors in options.

Kit performance is enhanced by careful positioning of the EFI fuel injectors being located further upstream than standard and directly in the part throttle turbulence of the butterfly. This allows increased time/distance for improved fuel mixing increasing torque and power where its needed. Our spindles profiled to minimise cross sectional area at full throttle and an 8 degree shut angle (shallower than most) gives finer control at small throttle openings. Our kits come built and balanced ready to fit you your engine and win races.

Jenvey Dynamics design, develop and manufacture all products in house often working with leading engine builders. Uniquely, with our own foundry, all castings are created in the same factory that they are machined and built in. Our cast systems are significantly lighter than fully CNC parts and all major components are backed up by rig tests of over 1 million cycles. All our standard kits are proven but our throttle systems are extremely modular allowing bespoke throttle sizes and system lengths. Please order components individually for bespoke application.
