YAMI4 pure C library for embedded platforms

YAMI4 is a messaging solution for distributed systems.

Users of the C programming language and the developers of embedded systems might be interested in the new additional package with the pure-C implementation of the YAMI4 core library.

The motivation for creating this package was that some embedded platforms do not have a satisfactory C++ compiler support and theadaptation of existing YAMI4 package was unnecessarily difficult. Interaction with vendor-provided header files for the target embedded platform and non-standard definitions of basic types and constants proved to be a potential problem.

The functionality of the C package is exactly the same as that of the regular core library. Please see the unit tests and example programs to get the feel of API conventions, which are kept very close to the regular YAMI4 core library.
This new package is intended for further adaptation and integration on the target embedded platform.
