Hello,
There is a known gettext bug in which the javascript files are not parsed correctly when generating messages. I think that django 1.2 and 1.3 need to apply this patch to get a better javascript lexer for the gettext message tools:

The important thing here is that it uses a javascript lexer, instead of a Perl (?) lexer like it was before. I ran into this problem during i18n, as some messages in the Javascript Source files were not appearing in the .po files after running the 'makemessages' admin command.
