Subject: Commander Walden's Membership Challenge

Post Commanders,

February is all about momentum, and we are putting real dollars behind membership growth across the Department of Texas.

I am excited to announce Commander Walden’s February Membership Incentive Program, designed to reward Posts, Districts, and individual recruiters who step up and help us grow our organization.

Here’s how it works:

Post Incentives:

•           For every 10 members a Post renews, reinstates, or recruits, the Post will receive $100

(Example: 20 members = $200, 30 members = $300, and so on)

•           The Post with the highest total number of new, reinstated, or retained members during February will receive $500

District Incentive:

•           The District with the largest overall membership growth during the month of February will receive $1,000

Individual Recruiter Incentives:

•           Any individual who recruits more than 5 members during February will be entered into a $500 drawing.

•           The top recruiter in the State of Texas—the individual who recruits the most new members—will automatically receive $500

This program is about rewarding effort, initiative, and leadership at every level—Post, District, and individual members. Every new member strengthens our mission and ensures the future of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Texas.

Let’s make February count. Get your team engaged, talk to veterans in your community, and let’s show once again why Texas leads the way.

As always, You must send your reports to Wayne Cooley wa...@texasvfw.org for reimbursement and to be entered into this contest.

If you have questions, reach out to your District leadership or the Department Headquarters.

Respectfully,

Ben
