Good morning...

Jim Collins, Director of On-Site Energy Resources for Austin Energy in Austin Texas, would like to inquire and obtain information regarding the following:

He would like to know how many IDEA members are Public Power companies and others that are government entity systems that supply only chilled water.  If you would be so kind as to send any brochure materials you have it would greatly assist him in a research project he is working on.

While we struggle with increasing construction costs, as I’m sure most do, it would also assist us knowing how many fellow IDEA members ask their customers to pay for the cost to connect.  This would mean procure, install, own and maintain the following:  heat exchangers, mechanical room piping up to the heat exchanger from the 2’ outside the building wall, controls and in particular the service pipe from the main transmission connection to the building.  Our demarcation for the service pipe connection owned and maintained by AE is 2’ outside the building wall.

Your assistance is appreciated.

Thank you,

Sue Arthur
