Do we need to  pick up a product and then analyse conventional channels of distribution for that product?   ( Refer the project description in binder)

If yes, which product we would be looking at.

Or we need to give general gyaan about the conventional distribution channels siting examples?

Hey,

 

As mentioned in the binder, conventional channels of distribution are most used by consumer goods. So let's work upon the distribution of consumer goods or a particular product within the category. We are expect to study the nature of the product, how it is marketed, analyse its distribution in detail.

 

Since, as of now, we just have to submit a synopsis, which can include the following:

 

1. What are conventional channels of distribution in brief (in the final report we can elaborate on different types of distribution, for synopsis this much is enough)

 

2. Mention the product category we are choosing (probably consumer goods) what are consumer goods, the product that we are focusing on

 

3. A brief on the distribution channel used in this product category - maybe we can mention how it started to where it is today, challenges, opportunities - all vry briefly - in essay format - max 2 pages.

 

4. Our approach in making this project

 

Let's collate all relevant info that each of us finds and complete it by 10 am tmrw (guess everyone's ready to go to bed nw :P)

Pls mke ur respective ppt on the following qus by Monday...v vil meet on Monday at 2 as discussed and compile the whole thing...Send in the ppts by Sunday night..
