The University of Missouri is installing a direct buried, high temperature, high density polyethylene pipe, hot water system for service in the 160 degree F range.  I was just wondering what type of valve people are installing and have had good success with (brand would be great as well)?  We are currently looking at flanged butterfly valves with epdm seats.  The HDPE flange fused onto the HDPE pipe would also have a stainless backing ring to help reinforce the flange.  Thank you.  -Tim Gephardt
