Posted on behalf of IDEA member Jeff Easton, Burns & McDonnell:

One of our clients (who will be attending the IDEA Annual Conference in Scottsdale AZ next week) is on the search for a pre-insulated piping manufacturer who can expedite delivery of about 175’ of 6” steam and 2” condensate piping.  Our client had a building branch line fail and they are trying to get new lines installed prior to September – students, cold, etc.

We've checked lead times with some manufacturers and they are running at least 7-8 weeks out, so we wondered if perhaps reaching out through IDEA could help.

I appreciate any help you could lend.

Thanks,

Hi Jeff,

Understanding, that the system solution is required, but fyi - for condensate piping (design details dependent) I can recommend FibreFlexPro - flexible high temp reinforced plastic pipe for condensate return high temp applications up to 212F - 239F with 30 years expected lifetime.
