Hi,
A recent post discussed what types of electric pumps were being used to remove water from steam vaults. I was wondering if anyone has had success with using a steam ejector pump for removing water in a steam vault. In our situation we have no electricity in the vault so we're looking at options.
Thanks,

From my supervisor in regards to steam pumps:

Chuck,

We used to use steam ejector pumps in some of our steam vaults. With our experience they required a lot of maintenance, developed leaks, and were heavy and cumbersome to remove for service. The manufacture that we used was Spirax Sarco.
