I need to remove Adguard from my iMac, running Yosemite. But every time I tried to put it into trash a pop up message says "The item "Adguard" can't be moved to the Trash because it's open" when actually it is not OPEN. How to remove this?

For all has problem how to remover adguard or to continue in ads or you want to delete adguard first you need to go activity monitor>search for adguard>quir or press the x sign in upper leftside then thats it you can continue in the site you want to go and you can delete the app now. thank me later your friendly neighborhood wenskie

I am having the same problem. Mostly, I use Chrome and Firefox - rarely use Safari. I have opened 'Tools' in Chrome and 'Add-Ons' in Firefox but I dont see Adguard in either place. When I open Safari it isnt there.
annoying as Adguard asks me to update it often AND I would simply like to not have it monitoring my activity.

Ad Guard is a russian company. After revelations about the involvement of kapersky in the spying activities of the russian gov, this omission seems to me suspicious. You would believe they don't want you to remove the certificate which is used to subvert all other certificates on the system to monitor https connection.

Hi, I just managed to uninstall Adguard and was having the same problem as you. You have to open Safari, then from the "Safari"menu, click on the dropdown list "Preferences", then a new window will open and from the top menu icons, select "Extensions", then you should see the Adguard app icon appear in the window, and you will see a button where you can click to "uninstall". Then that's it!

I am just looking for people using AdGuard Home in their Yunohost server.
Is the package GitHub - YunoHost-Apps/adguard_ynh: AdGuard Home package for YunoHost currently working ?
How is the load of the server with such king of app ?

Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.

I'm a premium user. I use AdGuard DNS on all platforms I use Spotify with. Since I'm paying a monthly fee to avoid advertisements on Spotify, I'm obviously not using AdGuard to block anything Spotify related.

I've confirmed the issue is DNS. That is, on my phone, I removed the custom DNS AdGuard setting. On my router, I changed the DNS to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8). This fixed my phone and desktop issues (including web based player).

In the meantime, we just wanted to make sure that you've tried disabling Adguard to see if this issue occurs irrespective of it.

If you're sure Adguard is the cause of this, could you still try a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your Android device to see if that helps solve the issue?

If that doesn't work, another thing you could try which has been suggested in other forums is to perform a DNS flush, followed by disabling your NIC and re-enabling it as a way of restarting.

There's not much else we can suggest at this time, but do let us know how you get on - we'll do our best to answer any further questions you might have.

Same here, I'm looking for a solution for months now...

As of today, Spotify is not working with AdGuard DNS Filtering (Spotify app is considered offline and is not able to see any Airplay or bluetooth devices).

Does anyone know specifically which domain Spotify is using that is being blocked? Another workaround would be to unblock just that one domain in AdGuard. It's a workaround, not an ideal solution because a Premium account shouldn't be failing when it cannot reach an ad domain, but at least it would work without disabling AdGuard for anything else.

I have a similar issue. I have whitelisted spotify.com in the AdGuard allowlist, but that didn't fix my problem ,which is that if I use my Android phone with Spotify Premium from my home WiFi network, and leave home, I have to disable AdGuard to stream Spotify content. Once it connects, it appears that i can re-enable AdGuard.

I had similar problem with premium... flaky playback to Spotify speakers on my home wifi. Fix was to go to app management in the adguard app, find the Spotify app, and completely disable all adguard features fir it.

I have a synology server at home with adguard home. I created the rules in sophos xg (I think I missed something) because when the lan connection uses the ip of the synology server where adguard is, I can't access the website, when I change the dns server address to google 8.8.8.8 or other external everything works. What rules should I add to the ones I have? In the attachment screen rules.

Synology is PortC in the picture. Sophos works in bridge mode, at the ISP on his router I have port 443 directed to synology, on it I provide synology to the network via a reverse proxy. It's all working, accessing synology from the web. If I change Synology from DMZ to LAN, then adguard works and synology is as DNS in the connection settings on the computer, but I would like to separate Synology to DMZ due to the fact that it is exposed to the network, and thanks to sophos xg I can see how often it is scanned. Should I remove the rules you're talking about? I added Synology in the host section.

This question does not appear to be about a specific programming problem, a software algorithm, or software tools primarily used by programmers. If you believe the question would be on-topic on another Stack Exchange site, you can leave a comment to explain where the question may be able to be answered.

I have to admit that I am new to Kubernetes, so maybe I am doing something wrong? I do, however, find it puzzling that having deployed Plex in a similar fashion seems to work just fine; I can stop, destroy, etc. and re-deploy it, and it starts as if nothing ever happened.

I found out what the issue was: applying the various YAMLs for the first time spin up the pod/stack - this creates an AdGuardHome.yaml file using the template/params from the adguard-config.yml. Applying changes using the web UI and successively doing a cat /path/to/AdGuardHome.yaml, you can see that the file's content changes (i.e. changes in the web UI get written to that file). I found out that ConfigMaps are generally immutable in k8s unless you set up an automatic reloading mechanism, which basically means that each time you reboot your system, destroy/re-deploy the pod, the original ConfigMap gets applied.

As a minor addendum: I think that a viable workaround would be to add an initContainer which checks if the file already exists in the given path; if it doesn't, create it applying the contents of the adguard-config.yml.
