Hello

Would YOU like to join our leadership team?!

We're looking for new people and new ideas for next year. This is a great chance to grow professionally, develop new skills and positively impact the professional development scene in the UAE and beyond!

We'd love to hear from UAE-based TESOL Arabia members to arrange the LISIG events programme for next year - what sort of events should we organise? What would be popular? And where? How can we best promote, encourage and share ideas and tips about independent learning? What about IL and technology and mobile learning, or distance learning, or IL research, or kids and IL or ...

LI SIG is also active online too and we welcome non-UAE-based TA members to get involved - suggesting discussion topics/moderating the lists, leading Moodle initiatives, contributing to and expanding our website - and ......... Also, overseas TA members can join the leadership team to create e-newsletters, revamp our book, edit or do graphics for us.

We also appreciate support, suggestions and input of all our friends and colleagues out there who are TA members; however to be an actual formal 'titleholder' you need to be a member!
