Hello,
When I create an analysis with Distance.exe, the Windoxs 11 system blocks reopening the file with a message "the dalta folder 'oiseau.dat' is reed only". And read-only is systematically put back into place. Has anyone had this problem and been able to resolve it?
THANKS

This is not a problem I have experienced when using DistWin under Windows 11.

Can I ask a few more questions about your situation? What version of Distance for Windows are you using? Most recent version available for download is Distance for Windows 7.5.

As I understand your problem, you were able to create a Distance project, however, having closed the project (and Distance for Windows), you cannot open the project you previously created. Is this accurate?

It is possible that you saved your project in a location of which Windows 11 does not approve? Into what directory did you save your project? As an experiment, could you create a project and save it in a different location; something unlikely to trouble Windows 11 like "My Documents". Report what you discover if you carry out the experiment.

Good morning, here is what was preventing the files from opening (message: “read only”, therefore not editable): This is Google Drive ! When the Distance .DAT files are integrated into the automatic backup, this blocked so I placed the “My Distance Projects” directory outside of the data backed up by Google Drive. That’s good to know! THANKS FG
