Dear all,

We are excited to announce the 2nd edition of our course: Design, Implement and Promote Species Monitoring in R, taking place 12–14 October , fully online to foster international participation.

This course covers both theory and practice of long-term monitoring protocols, including Census, Capture-Mark-Recapture, distance sampling, site occupancy, and N-mixture methods. Participants will learn to design robust field protocols and analyze data in R using provided scripts.

Daily sessions from 09:00–12:30 (Berlin time), combining live lectures and self-guided practicals.
